The Tommaso TRS carbon/aluminum fork is a great deal full of performance like the rest of the products from Tommaso. For those looking for a light carbon fork and a great price look no further-this is your ticket to ride. This fork tips the scales at 520 grams of sure handling corner carving goodness. The 1-1/8” steer tube is offered uncut to allow for a custom fit to any 1-1/8” threadless frame. The Tommaso TRS carbon/aluminum fork is the same fork found on the racier of Tommaso bikes. We are making this offer to give everyone a chance to own a little speed and sure handling. Whether you want to upgrade your current fork or need a fork for a frame-up build this twin carbon legged speed demon is the obvious choice.
This fork is delivered uncut and will need to be professionally cut and installed. When cutting this fork to size it is not recommended that more than 40mm of 1-1/8 spacers are utilized between the headset top cap and stem.

Sadly I had to replace the fork on my Imola carbon (it shattered). However, when I got my new fork out of the box, I noticed that it didn't show the weave-pattern my old one had. Obviously, the new fork is made out of carbon-fiber, but the not having the weave-pattern makes it look kinda old.
Is there a reason you don't sell weaved forks? Is this also the case when buying a new Tommaso bike?

i am 5'11 230lbs.. would it be advisable to use a carbon fork for my Tiempo, or any road bike at all?

You could definitely use the Tommmaso carbon fork with an aluminum steerer tube to lighten up your Tiempo or any road bike with a steel or aluminum fork. You could also upgrade your bike to one of our lighter butted aluminum bikes with a carbon fork like the Mondial.
