The Sixth Sense is unquestionably a fast bike. On average I gain about 2kph (about 1.2 mph) on this bike over riding on my Orbea Opal, which is one mean beast itself.

One most remarkable feature of the frame is the deep wheel cut. You can literal hear the whooshing sound coming from your rear wheel as they turn. It almost acts like a disc that extends the surface area of your rear wheel, giving it a disc-wheel-like effect.

Simply put, this bike is top-notch on the inside and gorgeous on the outside. Don't get fooled by all the sponsorships and marketing from other brand-name bike shops, this bike is right up there with all of them.

Also, you should inquire about the size before deciding. You can probably order the smaller bike if you are right around the boundary. I'm between 5'7'' and 5'8'', and a 51cm fits me very well.

Lastly, I recommend you upgrade the bike chain. My chain got completely bent out of shape during a Half IM race, and I had to run with the bike for the last 12km of the bike course.

As I can not update my previous review I will have to rewrite a new one. This bike is plain fast. After getting fitted properly at my local Tri store I have gained great speed over my training from my previous road bike. I really look forward to getting back on the bike each time. The only changes I have made are updating the seat. I have already put over 500 miles on the frame with no issues.

Quick to ship, packed securely. The 53cm bike came with a 50/34 crankset, which I did not expect, but prefer as a triathlete. The colors are great, got some compliments in transition area. Nice touch with Tommaso written lengthwise on the seat in contrasting material. The ride is super smooth, the carbon fiber absorbs bumps and vibration while remaining rigid for good acceleration. This bike is hands down the best value around, the quality of the frame and components could only be rivaled by bikes that cost 2x as much. I would recommend adding aero wheels and carbon bars for a full iron distance, but will rock olympic and half iron's as is. Shifting is quick and crisp, brakes are smooth. I paired the bike up with Look Keo 2 Max pedals (also from Giantnerd). I am extremely happy with this purchase!

So far so good. There were some mix ups in the beginning with my frame size available not being sound, so my sixth sense is actually an aereo frame with the sixth sense components. Giantnerd did a great job to make sure I was happy and satisfied with this fact. The quality of the bike is amazing and the overall look is great. I am getting fitted for this bike soon and will update once I find out how truly fast it is!!! Giantnerd has a new customer for life.

I have recently returned from a short 2 month deployment and finally got a chance to get my hands on my Sixth Sense. I was disappointed in the way that the bike arrived, as it did not arrive in a high quality box, as pictured here on Giant Nerd. The bike arrived in a Kuota Bike Box, vice the pie shaped box that is pictured here on the site.

I was also concerned that the bike might be damaged as the box had been pretty well beaten in it's journey to my post office. But everything seemed to be in working order. I have had some trouble with the brakes as they appear to be installed too tightly and have the tendency to rub against the tire well during the ride after hitting some bumps along the road.

The ride itself however makes up for the sub-par shipping and minor brake issue! I have never been on a carbon bike before and I literally felt as if I were flying down the street on the way to work the other day. The seat is a little uncomfortable, but I think an upgrade wouldn't hurt. Everything else seems to be good to go! Thanks Giantnerd!

Just got mine yesterday and I set everything up, haven't ridden it yet because i'm getting fitted today but the bike looks awesome!!

First day out on this beast of a bike I knocked 4 minutes off my 15 mile time and 7 minutes off my 20 mile time. I raced in my first sprint distance and finished 8th overall female and 1st in my age group. I went from Amateur to Elite thanks to this amazing piece of ART. When they say " you see dead people" it does crate that feeling when I passed nearly every competitor over and over and over again from the two waves that left ahead of me and nearly lost my voice saying "on your left"!! LOVE IT!!

Tommaso triathlete James Hadley burned up the Syracuse 70.3 bike course (56 miles) with an average speed of 24.5 miles per hour! That not a max speed...that's the average speed. What a monster. He went on to finish 4th in the Pro Male division. We are very proud of James and the Tommaso Sixth Sense.
When Tommaso decided to produce tri bikes they didn't just add aero bars to a road bike and call it a day. No, they sent the Product Manager to race a couple 70.3's and Ironman Louisville before the bike was released. It had to be Ironman tested and Ironman approved-it passed the test.
The Tommaso Sixth Sense and Tommaso Aereo share the same amazing superlight carbon frame and fork with different Shimano components and wheels. The goal at Tommaso is to get as many people on a freaking fast tri bike and hunt down the overpriced competition. There's no better feeling than riding the wheel off a competitor that spent $3,000 more on their bike that you.

I have been racing and training on the "Sixth Sense" all year. I normally cycle on the Aggraziato road bike which is beautiful. But this year, I have been able to get the big 200km rides done on the "Sixth Sense"! Remarkably comfortable as well as extremely fast. I absolutely love this bike. In my opinion, for the affordable price, you're really getting the best bike possible. This is the only bike I have had Retul fit me up on like a glove. It handles great, it has awesome aerodynamics, and it looks cool! The beauty of it is that it climbs too. Most TT bikes are tough to get out of the saddle and work. This one is just so good at everything you throw at it...it's eats hard work for breakfast!

I was lucky enough to develop this bike while I was training for Ironman. The goal was to make the perfect bike to carry an athlete through the bike leg of the most grueling event and be fresh and ready to run...a marathon! The Sixth Sense made the 112 miles (and hundreds of miles in training) very enjoyable. The bike is quick but stable. Athletes need a bike to be stable so they can eat of the go and change out bottles and eat gels. As an ex-road racer I wanted a bike that could corner like a crit machine too...I got it with this bike. There's a lot of time to be made in the corners and scrubbing speed by braking heading into a corner will lose a lot of time over a long course. I ripped this bike short course and long course and always wanted to bike portion to be longer. This bike is a dream to ride and catching people and leaving them behind was a real boost to the spirit. The name, "Sixth Sense" comes from the movie and stuck after I joked in a post-race video that when I am on this bike and look up the road "I see dead people."
With the price Giantnerd is offering this bike at I would imagine they will disappear faster than free Gatorade at the finish line of an Ironman.
