I have used this jacket mainly in SF, where it is always windy and cold. It has always kept me warm and does a great job keeping out the wind. I wore it to a baseball game recently down by the bay and did not experience any shivers. I have even used it up in Tahoe as a base layer, as it is not bulky and fits nicely under a ski jacket. The pockets are a little strangely placed but they are very large. It fits well, I am a small normally and the small fits me perfectly. The gray color is more of a blueish gray, but sharp. My girlfriend has even tried claiming it as her own and tries to wear it whenever I am not. Excellent jacket for the $$, North Face is definitely worth it.
