Unfortunately, knickers won't do for when I am riding on my road bike. Besides I hate the way I look in knickers.

I'll wait until the tights are posted, but it is getting uncomfortably colder by the day here in New York.

Last time I went out I wore running tights under my riding shorts but at around 10 miles the chaffing was starting to become uncomfortable.

I also wore a plastic baggie under my helmet, which was great until I stopped and then broke out in a tremendous sweat which then poured down my face and neck.

Louis, if you decide to wear running tights and cycling shorts together, try the running tights on top of the shorts. That's what I have done. You should always have the chamois next to your skin. Any other fabric between the chamois and your skin would cause chafing for sure!
P.S. it's starting to get colder out here as well.
