I am new to full suspension mountain biking. I recently bough a 2011 Mongoose Pinn'r from Giantnerd.com. I got the bike for $1099. This is an insanely low price. I chose to have the bike pre built before it was shipped to me, it was definitely worth the additional $79. The shipping was free. I received my bike in 5 days (very fast delivery). I ordered the bike on Thursday and was riding the following tuesday. The ad claimed that the bike did not come with pedals, but it did, this was another +. The bike was nicely packaged, there was no shipping damage. I only had to bolt on the handlebars (4 screws), put the front wheel on and put the seat post in he post hole-VERY SIMPLE. The bike shifts, rides and brakes perfectly. I am very happy with the Giantnerd service. My next bike purchase will be through this site

As for the Mongoose Pinn'r, um my work performance is slipping because the only thing I want to do is ride this bike. I have had a handful of hardtails, they are good, but having 7" of travel puts a stupid grin on my face when I ride. I have just tried a few drop offs and a table top that I have been afraid to jump for some time now. I have read that this is a great bike, but it is heavy. Yes, it is heavy compared to my Jamis Komodo, but the additional weight does not make the bike hard to ride in any way. The "FREE DRIVE" system works well. I ride about a mile through town and to my local trails with ease. I have done some light xc on this bike. It would be nice to have anoth er front chain ring for severe climbing, but I see guys riding fixed gear bikes up hills so I shouldn't complain. I need to work on my leg strength more than anything. Overall, this is a very solid well built bike and in my opinion looks awesome.
