I am a short waist-ed woman so the length is ok. The straps both waist and chest are to short for my girth and very tight over down clothing .. I saw nothing on the site to show that would be a problem. I also find the lack of compression straps on the water bottle pockets a real pain. the bottles fall out. I would not buy this again
