There is nothing worse than setting out for a long day of backpacking in the wilderness and five miles in, the bottom drops out of your bag. Your gear goes everywhere. Food goes rolling off into the trees. It probably attracts bears, and soon enough, you’re trying to fight off grizzlies by using the tattered remains of your pack as a club. Okay, so we may be exaggerating. But the Osprey Sirrus 24 Backpack is highly durable and lightweight to keep that from happening. Might as well take precautions!
It comes equipped with dual mesh side pockets and zippered mesh hipbelt pockets for easy access to important gear- like that butterfly knife you trained with for months in case of grizzly attack. A zippered pocket holds a built-in raincover to keep your gear dry in the rain, snow, or while fording a river to escape whatever is chasing you. It is also compatible with hydration reservoirs to keep you hydrated and healthy on long hikes. Which is great, because fending off forest animals while dehydrated is very difficult and we don’t recommend it.
