Osprey Raptor 10 Hydration Pack
The Osprey Raptor 10 Hydration Pack is the middleweight Hydraulic in Osprey’s Raptor series. As all of us know from watching Jurassic Park, a “raptor” is a bird of prey and a really cool dinosaur. But bird or beast, both are lean, quick and effective. Osprey’s Raptor series is no different. These hydration packs are built with an innovative suspension and ergonomic backpanel which cling to your back and stabilize your cargo. The Raptor does have a bike-specific helmet clip and a bike tool sleeve within the main compartment, but the built-in magnet for the bite-valve drinking attachment and 3L of water will surely satisfy trail-runners’ thirst as well.

If you look at the specs, you'll know if this type/size pack is right for you or not but here's why I like it- The Raptor 10 is the smallest Osprey Raptor that has the 3 liter water capacity. It's small enough to use for mountain bike races and long inline skate training, but large enough to carry anything and everything I might need, (pump, tools, phone, spare spokes, umm...hand grenade?). The best is the 'fit'. It conforms perfectly to my back, super-comfortable shoulder straps and has a narrow profile that keeps it 'out-of-the-way' of anything I need to do with my arms/hands. I thought it was a little pricey at first, but now that I see how well designed and made it is, I have zero regrets. One thing, I got the 'sand' colored one, but it's really more of a green-yellow, (see it in 'real life' in member photos). "Stay un-thirsty my friends."
