Part of Marin's 29ER series, the performance oriented geometry gives you efficient energy transfer when you're churning your gears up a steep and stability during descents thanks to the bigger 29” wheels for crushing rocky terrain. This cross country bike is crafted with Marin 4130 Cromoly Triple-butted Edge Shaped Top and Down Tubes Frame that is easy on the poundage but maximizes impact absorption. For smoother sailing, the Rock Shox Recon Silver Air 29er Suspension Fork with 100mm of Travel, Alloy Steerer with External Rebound, and Turnkey Lockout takes the edge off the rocks and roots.
The Pine Mountain incorporates SRAM components including the SRAM X.9 Rear Derailleur with SRAM X.7 front derailleur. The SRAM 3x10 Speed Crankset is merited for its X-Glide technology that never misses a shift even in unexpected, off-road terrain. Finishing off the Pine Mountain are the powerfully responsive Avid Elixir 3 Hydraulic Disc brakes.
