For touring the entire mountain, you need a bike that can not only handle the rough, but can take the caliber of your ride to another level. The 2011 Marin Attack Trail 6.9 Mountain Bike is designed to meet your standards of terrain-crushing. This all mountain is structured with a Marin 6061 Aluminum Fully Hyrdoformed Mainframe that allows riders to hammer up hills and cruise down descents. The elevated Swing Arm Quad-link 2.0 150mm Suspension System grabs big air and kills it over rocks, roots and mud pits by transferring energy directly to the rear wheel. The Fox 36 Float RLC 160mm Travel Suspension Fork is accentuated with the 1 1/8” to 1.5” Tapered Steerer for precision control while the one piece ISCG-05 bottom bracket produces bombproof performance on off-road terrain.
The Attack Trail integrates SRAM components including the SRAM X.9 Rear Derailleur with SRAM X.7 2x10 Speed Shifters and SRAM X.7 front derailleur. The Fox Float RP2 Rear Shock with Rebound Adjustment and Dual Position ProPedal 2 Lever takes the edge off some bigger descents and reduces stress on your body so you can push your ride to the limit. Merited for their reactive maneuverability and strength, the Fulcrum Red Zone Wheelset completes the Attack Trail.
