La Sportiva Crossover GTX Trail Running Shoes - Men's
The La Sportiva Crossover GTXis a light, secure trail running shoe that will protect your feet from everything except bullets. The “trail-running” idea conjures images of soft, dry trails on bluebird days. While of course these ideas have merit, true trail running enthusiasts know that running off-road can be wet, slippery, cold and unwieldy. The Crossover GTX was designed to overcome these hurdles. The GTX has a Gore-Tex gaiter to keep snow, sand and mud out of your shoe and keep your feet dry. The entire lining is breathable and zippered to keep your feet well-guarded.

I was wondering whether the shoe, despite its obvious advantage for muddy/wet terrain, can maintain effective flexibility and low-weight that is sought after in a trail running shoe?
Otherwise these look great!
