Beginner The Mythos is the ideal shoe for the beginner to novice stages of climbing. The "last" on the Mythos (last = the Fit Asymmetry system provided by La Sportiva) places the shoe at RN 25, right between Comfort and Tech fit, which is right where you would want to be as you begin. See the attached link here to see the fit system straight from La Sportiva: http://sportiva.com/pop.php?p=/images/fitsys/ClimbingFitSystem.jpg

Venilation? I have a pair of the Salomon XT Wings and they stay cool and dry even on long hiking days in the summer. I would say these are a great pair of shoes for full day use. Also, if you plan on wearing them in the rain or snow, I would suggest upgrading to the Gore-Tex version - same shoe just fully waterproofed.

TRON
I just picked up a pair of these last week and I couldn't be happier with them. Luckily last weekend was 75 degrees and sunny so I got the chance to break 'em in too. Super lightweight and polarized lenses make it feel like your wearing nothing at all (on your face that is). I'm sure these will get plenty of use in the months to come.

Stellar
Great looking Freeride bike with an amazing groupo. The purple catches the eye and sets you apart from the pack. This bike ships fast and free!

Great All Around Shell
I just received my Marmot Spire Jacket earlier this week. This is a great, high-end, Gore Tex shell that I plan on using for everything from snowboarding in waist deep powder to walking home in the heavy snow on a Saturday night. The removable snow skirt makes it a versatile jacket that I can also wear in the Spring rain. I also bought the Marmot Motion Pants and the Marmot Work Gloves and to my surprise, all three items together weigh less than my old snowboard jacket. Gotta love the technical gear!

Value Meets Utility
I've had my Muir 24 for a little over a month now and it is my favorite pack for everyday use. I can easily carry my computer in the built in sleeve and still have the rest of the pack packed full. The harness keeps it centered on my back whether I'm hiking, biking or just walking to the creek. Tons of space and well organized, I would recommend this pack to anyone looking for a great all-in-one investment.

Super Soft
I just picked up a pair of these bad boys for my motorcycle. Light and breathable is an understatement. They keep my hands warm when there's a cool breeze and perfectly ventilated when I'm in the sun. I particularly enjoy how soft they are when I need to wipe a bug off my face or sweat from my brow. Oh yeah, and the grey and green is a bad ass color.

It's all about the magnet
It's about time someone gave Camelbak a run for their money. And what a run Osprey is giving 'em. I recently bought the Osprey Manta 25 in blue and I couldn't be happier. As soon as I put it on I knew this pack was different than anything that precedes it. The light-weight wire frame keeps it well positioned on my back no matter the load I have in it and the mesh backing keeps my back from getting drenched in sweat. The shoulder and hip straps stretch just enough to match my movements which makes pressure points a thing of the past. I'm continually amazing at how easy it is to fit a full bladder in this bad boy no matter how full the pack is, and I mean PACKED FULL. Despite all the cool features that make this pack so bad ass, my favorite part about it is the magnet on the sternum buckle that holds the bite valve exactly where it should be (brilliant!).

Wow...
I gotta say, it's not very often that I find an article of clothing this amazing. Just about anything made of Merino wool is worth its weight in gold and the awesome features of this guy are pushin' platinum status. The hidden pockets are great for warming your hands (front pockets), cooling you down (back cargo pocket) or hiding your PBR on the way into Red Rocks (again the back cargo pocket). I'm only worried that it will wear it out too quickly given how much I wear the damn thing.

Stay on your toes
I've had Salomon XT Wings for about 8 months now and I have to say they are a must have for any avid runner (pavement, trail or otherwise). I honestly have a hard time wearing them as casual shoes because the first step you take in them urges you to break into a run. The rebound and response of the Agile Chassis System is unbelievable. You can feel the shoe pushing you forward and up on your toes with every stride. I would say the brighter colors (X-Games and Green Fizz) do tend to draw attention but you might as well give the people you're passing on the trail something to look at.
