Sizing I am 6'1" and 250 lbs. I ride a Large. It is perfect for me When I bought the bike I was worried about the size as well, but if you check the technical specs on the GT website, you'll see that a Large will probably fit you perfectly. Hope this helps!

Great bike
Especially considering the price here at Giant Nerd, this is a fantastic bike. I previously rode a 26" hard tail and the jump to a 29" FS is night and day! I am 6'1" and 250 pounds (and losing it fast!). After dialing in the front and rear shocks with the correct sag, this bike easily goes over small logs; it is so much easier to go uphill, even with the weight I have to drag up there!
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars instead of 4 stars is that the thread on one of the screws on the stem wasn't working. But the excellent customer service here actually turned this into an almost non-issue, as they contacted GT and had a new stem shipped to me within a few days. No problem, they are definitely easy to work with.
ps Kuddos to the Genius build and the box the bike came in. I had the bike rolling in less than 10 minutes. And I am keeping the box, it will come in handy if I ever want to ship the bike myself to go hit epic trials somewhere else.
