Not bad. How do you add a picture?

good summer riding trails

There's also a great paved trail up in North Denver. I've never ridden it, but I've driven by it several times. Looks pretty cool.

The Sante Fe trail is a really long trail that is has a great view, is not too difficult, and has a diverse terrian.

What do you want in a hydration pack?

I did not want a pack with a frame. I got one that breathes well.

Deal or No Deal

Got some Salomon GTX shoes for about $125. Not the best price, but for the color, it was worth it.

What do you want in a hydration pack?

I like having a somewhat small pack, that is durable, holds a lot of water, and has enough room to store stuff. We like to be able to put a shirt and our lunch in the pack. Also like to have several compartment, so we can separate our keys from our phones (to prevent scratching). I also like some external storage so I can tie things on the back of the pack. The Camelbak MULE has been great for us.

Helpful on a bike ride

I put one of these types of cages on my mountain bike. It's good to have, but I don't use it a whole lot. It's nice to have a water bottle below you on your bike, because then you don't need to carry a pack on your back, but they're a little bit of work to get to in the middle of while you're riding. I think I prefer the hydration pack. It's easier to get to.

Great pack for hiking

I finally bought one of these packs, and it's awesome. There's enough water for the both of us to share on a hike in Colorado. We usually go for several hours. It also has enough space for me to suff my keys, wallet, extra shirt, and even our lunch, so we love it. It's a great pack for shorter hikes. Well worth the purchase.

Time for some new Salomon GTX shoes

Awesome shoes!

I bought these shoes just over two years ago. They lasted me 2 years. That's way longer than any pair of shoe has ever lasted me. I lived in Pennsylvania and they were great for walking to class through the snow (thanks to the waterproof Gortex). They also worked great for hiking, which I did a lot more of once I moved to Colorado. They took a little while to break in (they hurt the sides of my feet at first), but then they were the best shoes I've ever worn. Highly recommend them. I'm going to buy a second pair. Love the drawstring laces. Keep your feet dry and happy.
