Bike weight I have a Schwinn CF1000, very similar to the LeTour (aluminum main triangle, carbon fiber fork and rear stays). With pedals it weighs in at 22 lbs. This model Le Tour comes with better grade brakes, crank and gruppo than mine, so you might save a pound there. But expect 20-22 lbs with pedals.

Cleat compatibility? Jeff: You say these pedals are Look Delta cleat compatible. But the Shimano cleats are SPD. The cleats on my shoes (both pairs) are Look Delta. I don't want to switch out cleats b/c I ride more than one bike. So I need a new pair of Delta pedals. R U sure my delta clearts will clip into these Shimano pedals?

Superleggera components? The write-up states "Dura Ace components". Where are they? The only Dura Ace I can find on this bike is the rear derailleur (can't see the front one in the picsw). A crank (economical), Ultegra shifters (way cheaper than Dura Ace, but still good), Tektro brakes (cheap), rear cluster undetermined. And a "no name" frame. There are lots of name brand bikes with full Ultegra in this price range at this time of the season. And you tout that the price is cheaper b/c you don't pay for "the pro’s team bus and salary for 30+ riders and staff." BUT you state that the Tommaso frame is "race proven", and allude to the Tour de France as the standard. So who's doing the "race proving"? This is a SINCERE question. How do you justify this price with this componentry, and how do you justify the statements quoted above? I read lots of good things about this bike. How do I ride one bef ordering?

Size, customization and weight... Three questions: 1) Can the crank or cassette or handlebars and stem be specified different from what normally comes on the bike? 2) What is the best size for me, at 5' 6", but with a 28" inseam and long upper body? 3) What is the approx. weight (no pedals) of a medium bike, equipped as in the specs? (Yes, I know weights vary, esp. with carbon fiber, but to the nearest pound?)
