Love power to the rescue...
Update on my last review: I talked to Jared at Giantnerd and he's sending out a new rear derailer. Awesome service! Still.... I can't wait to actually ride the bike!

Arrived with broken rear derailer
My bike arrived very quickly and I took it to my LBS for assembly. Everything looked well wrapped and packed well, but once my mechanic started putting the bike together he realized something was wrong.
The chain came very twisted up and the rear derailer had very little tension. It turns out the X7 derailer was defective and the spring was not engaging correctly. My mechanic says everything else looks awesome. Rather than disassembling and boxing up the entire bike again, I'm hoping that Gaintnerd will simply replace the defective derailer. Seems cheaper than sending back the entire bike.
Let's see the Love Power come through here so I can ride off into the sunset....
