Nerd Bio

Cycling since 1984. Lovin' life aboard two wheels. I'm livin' the dream, schlepping bikes and ridin' in some beautiful places. I'm happy to become a Giantnerd... before I was just a Tinynerd. I'm also an international male model and have been perfecting my new look... more to come later on that one. Just filmed my first commercial last month for American Crew. I race mountain bikes but really... i'm just ridin alone when the start gun goes off... you can ask the other competitors. Trust me, i've riden a lot of stuff... I know what I'm talking about. And did I meniton that I'm responsible for bringing Lapierre bikes to the US? Yep... that's me.

Bad to the Carbone

The Superleggera Pro looks super sick! It's got all the right pieces at the right price. Here comes the best part... I'd race it! I'd probably add ligher wheels and my own personal saddle, but other than that... looks good to go.... fast. Too bad they're all sold out!

Sweet Wheelin With Shimano

I'm in the market for a new pair of wheels. I can tell you that I've never had trouble with Shimano and consider their products to set the bar for the industry standard. I will say that 1,525 is a little heavy for the current weights of an MTB race wheel. I do know that this wheel should and will last forever. I also like the center locking mechanism for the disc rotor. I've had trouble with the bolted disc rotor application in the past offered by other brands. The fact that the rim is tubeless compantable is good and really a must; however, cafe latex makes a great conversion kit to turn wheels tubeless that I would use. Or I would probably run standard tube and tire for weight seeing the general weight of this wheel. Definitely a wheel set to consider as I consider wheels for the upcomming season.
