Nerd Bio
I'm a UI Designer for a software company in Palo Alto. I love going to the gym, running, playing soccer, and playing video games. This site is awesome.

What is the better deal? @ Mike Goldberg - I agree, the carbon fork is definitely an improvement, but not so drastic that the Imola would be a bad choice. Either bike is a top quality choice.

New Beginnings The prices here are good. I've shopped around locally (Palo Alto, CA) and found these prices to be competitive. One thing about Giantnerd that makes it different though, is that you can earn Nerd Dollars by sharing and answering questions. These can be applied to purchases to take a few extra bucks off the price. Try that and have a happy birthday!

what is a waist size in inches?? More generally, if you were to wrap a measuring tape around your waist where you would wear your belt and measure, that is your waist in inches.

Beginner The thing about a climbing shoe is that the higher quality they are, the better they are for anyone. A shoe like this with no lining and old-school laces will fit well and be great for long climbs. Just pace yourself as your feet will take a beating with no liner.

How is it that such an awesome site as this even exists? Seriously, it is blowing my mind. I love the activity feed AND the reactions especially. xoxo

Looks Great in Underwear
I feel like a super hero when wearing these in my boxer briefs. That and they keep my toes warm under extreme off-trail conditions.

Awesome Pack!
I did my first glacial snowboarding trip this last winter and bought this pack. It worked really well. Part of the trip was hiking up the glacier in the morning and snowboarding down to town in the afternoon. One...long...run down the hill. It was great! The pack functioned well on the hike and held everything I needed it to, even my helmet. It then compacted down to a decent size when I strapped up and put my helmet on for the run, so I didn't have a large billowing pack behind me when it was empty.

Functional & Warm
I'd recommend these gloves to anyone. They are warm, basic, well priced and overall very functional. Let's be honest, what more can you ask for? Well, I subtracted a single star because of one feature missing. I like having the rubber strip on the forefinger to wipe snow from your goggles, else I tend to get soggy finger after a while. Other than that, a great buy, highly recommend.

Tommaso Tiempo Road Bike
I'm wondering why this bike has such a low price tag. Is it heavy? Is it very durable? I'm reading reviews, but a lot of it seems like sales fluff to me or written by beginners who have no experience with really good (expensive) bikes to compare it to.
