Great Bike-Pity About The Pro-Build

I bought this bike (with Giant nerd pro-build) a few days before my first triathlon and on race day, just 2 minutes after coming out of the transition area, I pulled on the left hand gear shift and it failed to work for me, what a disappointment. A few days back I brought the bike into my local bike store and they said that the front derailleur was loose and the left hand shifter cable had been poorly assembled (or at least damaged by the poorly assembled front derailleur). Having paid for pro-build this was the last thing I was expecting. In saying this, i think the bike itself is great, I managed a 1.07 (40k) raceday despite the gear hiccup. The bike is very fast for an entry-level tri bike, wont be beaten for price, and has run smoothly since I got the gears-derailleur looked at. I recommend this bike to someone looking for an entry-level tri bike (hence my 5 star rating) but I wouldn't recommend pro-build given my own personal experience... I'm still left wondering what my bike time would have been had the mechanics ticked right for me on raceday.
