Kimura - No regrets!
I too have to admit I was a bit skeptical of this bike when I saw it on-line. It compares very favorably to bikes that are easily $500 more at the LBS. It did not initially help my confidence when hitting the BAMF website and every third word from their crack marketing team is the derivation of the F-Bomb—note I am 40+ so maybe I am just outside their target demo. When comparing the quality of the various components, aesthetics, geometry and weight (approx. 25 pounds) I pulled the trigger. That said I could not be happier with my purchase! I have had this bike for about 3 months now—and have put a few hundred miles on it—doing everything from street to mud and I am thoroughly impressed with this bike. I actually get a lot of complements from other riders as the bike looks awesome in person. I went with the pre-assembled Nerd build so I would say it was about 15 minutes to get the bike from the box to ride-condition. Other than adjusting the psi in the forks and the front brake a little the pre-build was spot on! Hope this helps.
