Gearing up for a beautiful weekend here in Boulder, CO!

Great trail shoe!!!

Took these up Mt Sanitas here in Boulder, Co the other day and they were awesome. So many things about this shoe blew me away. First they are so light you do not even notice them on your feet. Second, the traction from the sole was superb. There was mud, snow and ice on the trail and the shoe held up really well. Giving me confidence to not worry about what was underneath me and focus on getting to the top. Finally, the water-proofing (GTX model) kept previously mentioned snow and ice out, keeping my feet dry. The shoe made the hike up Sanitas (aka "the stair master") that much more enjoyable. Awesome shoe for conquering awesome terrain!

comfy home away from home

The Minibus 23 from The North Face is truly an all around sweet tent. First, it is extremely easy to assemble, so no more fumbling with poles and rain-flys in front of your girlfriend when its time to put up shelter for the night. Second, The North Face considers this a two person tent, which it is, but it is extremely spacious inside. Spacious enough for two people and a 85lbs yellow lab to all sleep and hang-out comfortably. Finally, the Minibus compresses to a tight, light-weight package which if it wasn't for the bright green material would be unnoticeable in your pack. The North Face nailed it on every level with this tent! GET IT!!!

great everyday shorts

I originally bought these shorts, this summer, for hanging around the house. I quickly found out that I needed another pair because I was wearing them for hiking, fishing, running, swimming, walking the dog, going out on the town, you get the picture. They are the everyday short, just don't forget to wash them.

Must have goggle!!!

When a goggle comes with two lenses you know it means business. One lens is great for bright sunny days and the other provides great depth perception when mother-nature is dropping the fluffy stuff. I have used this goggle for the last two seasons, it never fogs and fits snug to the face. The Quick Release Lens System is ridiculously easy to use and wont hold you up when your trying to make first-chair.

Awesome lid!!!

The Variant Brim is a top notch snow helmet. Not only does the Variant Brim look great with its low profile fit, but it also provides top-notch crash rating protection. It also boasts some sweet extra features including a micro adjustable fit switch which helps you dial in the perfect fit for your head size. Easy to open and close venting for the ever changing weather on the hill. The X-Static Performance Lining kills 99.9% of bacteria so you will never get that unwelcome locker room smell from your helmet. To top it all off Smith offers a Lifetime Warranty on the Variant Brim. Bottom line... look good ski good!
