The fit, feel, and look of this helmet is great! There is finally a helmet that minimizes the "mushroom effect" when you put it on. The lightweight construction with all the vents is great because you want air to flow through when you're riding hard. A cycling cap does the trick in staying warm on colder days.

The price for this is steep, but with the discounts on GiantNerd, that isn't a problem at all!

I recently got back into biking after being an avid mountain biker, and needed a helmet that I wouldn't mind wearing, one that fit my large noggin correctly, and one to protect my head since I'm riding a road bike now.

Went to a lot of shops and tried on the Pro Light, Ionos, and some of the other Universal Giros, but this one fit like a glove. The locking system is simple and easy to use, and the helmet is so light I forget I'm wearing it sometimes. And for me, If it's not comfortable to wear, it's usually left at home, but with this helmet it's always with me.

I've worn this helmet as my road helmet since about 2007 and have very few complaints about it. In that time, I've replaced it once because I left it in my hot car and decided "better safe than sorry" but other than that it's been perfect.

The Roc Loc system is awesome and to be honest I don't think I'd ever really be happy with a non-Giro helmet because of it. Straps could be a bit easier to adjust, but they're pretty standard and I'm not sure I've seen anyone do it better.

I have a relatively large noggin (7-1/2 hat size) and I wear a large. It fits like a glove.

The lack of a sun visor (while a traditional "roadie" thing) is a little annoying down here in sunny Pueblo, CO.

Oh, and I believe they stopped doing this... but both my Atmos (special edition, not sure of the year) and E2 came with really nice formed-foam semi-hardshell cases. Big bonus as it's kept the helmets looking new over the years.

I love this helmet. You really can't remember whether or not you put it on when you're wearing it.

Wow this product was well built which is great safety for your head and well constructed but i wished it was less on the value cause i wished for more on it like colors better tightest on your head but the product was build for easier air threw.
