I guess I got a lemon and paid dearly for it. The bike showed up with a broken rear tube valve so I had to replace the tube. After fixing that I got the genius build and on the first ride the derailleurs I assume were not properly installed or adjusted so the chain broke. They refunded me some money and told me to go to a local shop and buy a chain. Well over $50 later for a new chain and a breaker to install it and the front tire is flat. Another tube and and in less than a mile it's flat again and I have to walk back. Apparently the rim rubber band isn't wide enough to cover all the holes in the rim so it put holes on the inside of the tube. I didn't want to see what was going to go wrong next so I sent the bike back. They charged me 25% "light use" fee and $50 shipping for a bike that had less than a mile on it. I was planing on buying a Fuji Thrill from here but don't think I could afford another lemon from them.

It is the heart and soul of GT suspension bikes. No pedals smacking rocks and shooting to the ground when suspension is working over time. Just smooth sailing miles of smiles! This bike is built with exacting precision and eye for detail. Smart parts spec, you could upgrade some parts if you really want to spend unnecessary cash, but SLX, RS Recon, Fox, Shimano Disc, Nothing but no nonsense performance built into this package. The Giant Nerd price CANNOT be beat! GT being part of the LARGEST bike company in the world means confidence without compromise. Home run purchasing this bike.

I checked out this bike for a long time before finally ordering it. Best decision Ive made yet. This bike loves going over rocks, stumps, and logs. Almost like it couldn't get enough.
If you are in the market for an awesome bike with an awesome price tag. get it. NOW.
Don't bother wasting your time looking at anything else. its worth it.

I got a great price on the GT Force 3.0, and everything about the bike is delivering. I have taken the bike on some pretty gnarly trails and the bike held up great. I stand at 5'10" and bought the large and do not regret it.

It's pretty cool to finally get the bike I was drooling over so many years ago.

As a side note, the front hub was loose on arrival but Giantnerd pulled through by covering the cost of repairs at my local bike shop.

I am 5'9 i want to get this bike but the chart says that my bikes size is Medium but i'm afraid it will be a little small. what the regular size bike for a regular kind of guy?? lol thanks

I really like this bike, great price for the component and frame. i drive works really well but i wish the fork and rear shock have more adjustment not just preload.Climbs really good and descend great... the brakes are really powerfull... i don't like shimano alivio shifters a lot (poor component comparing with others) Oerall i'm really happy with my purchase and would recommend this bike

WOW, what a great piece of equipment! Unknown to me it came with the genius build so I had it out of the box and on the trails in about 20 min. It rides great, handles well, is very stable and looks awesome. It climbs great and handles the downhill very well. This is my first fill suspension ride and I didn't know what I was missing. GREAT entry level mountain bike. I am a seasoned rider and purposely bought an entry level bike to save money because I enjoy upgrading my bikes as I go. Since the bikes I want are out of.my price range to buy outright I afford it over time, it is more fun that way. And with the superior price I paid through Giantnerd I can use the money I saved to start my upgrades!
