Knees are important - they are the connector between your pedal and your leg (if you didn't realize), allow you to run, and perform awesome rock star slides across hard wood floors. The point is, they need some protection so you can continue to rock out, and the Fox Launch Pro Knee Pad does just that. Perforated neoprene material lets your skin breath and lens some support, and its pre-curved to match the bends in your kneeds while riding. A silicon gripper behind the knees helps hold the pad in place while top and bottom elastic straps keep it from sliding around.

Comfortable pads with a good amount of protection

I prefer the soft pads to the hard ones, although I suppose I'm giving up a little protection in doing so. But these are comfortable and fit well. I like pairing this with a shin guard instead of going the all-in-on knee/shin guard route, which is a bit more bulky than I'd like. This pad is comparable to the sixsixone kyle strait, but a tiny bit bulkier (aka more protection in the knee cap). However, I do prefer smaller profile in the strait.
