It won’t take you back to the future in any capacity, but the Women’s Fox Flux Helmet is a perfect helmet for aggressive mountain riding.

Helmets give us protection - they’re a defense for our noggins against rocks, trees, and anything else we might run our heads into. The Women’s Fox Flux has all the normal features like an EPS shell and a bunch of vents, but the difference is that this helmet was built from the round up as a mountain bike helmet, not an adapted road lid. To start with, the vents are shaped for the relatively low speed of mountain biking allowing heat to rise off your head. It also features more comprehensive coverage than a traditional road helmet by protecting the back of your head in the event of a crash. A visor up front lets you duck under small branches, adds a cool look, and keeps sun out of your eyes during those long summer rides.
