Diamondback Sortie 3 Mountain Bike (Cross Country)
“Sortie” is French word meaning “exit” or perhaps more appropriately in this bike’s case, an “outing”. The Diamondback Sortie has been built to go a-cross any country without breaking your bank. But it would be a mistake to believe Diamondback has skipped on quality to save money. This is a solid, nimble, full suspension mountain bike.
Like the Mission series, the Sortie is equipped with the patented Knuckle Box giving you a lower-center of gravity with five inches of smooth travel. The Sortie is also built with light, tough, weapons-grade aluminum. These two Diamondback trademarks help this cross-country machine stay as lively and as sure-footed as a mountain goat.
The Sortie 3 claims the zenith spot amongst this series and for good reason. Shimano XT, Deore and SLX components hold down the derailleurs, brakes and shifters while a Fox 32 Float RL Air fork will cushion your ride.
