There are a million things that could go wrong when you leave your house for a bike ride: loose components, angry skunk, bad weather...the list goes on. Try to keep one thing, an uncomfortable outfit, off the list by upgrading your gear with the Dakine Tempest Short. These are a minimalist's idea of shorts, but don't confuse that with cheap. The super-lite stretch polyester moves in unison with your twisting, jumping and (hopefully not) falling and offers a flattering female shape. Front and back pockets store all the necessities (keys, ID, granola bar) while a gusseted crotch panel can endure hours of hard riding. Ride on, ladies.
