The Dakine Campus pack looks great and is the swiss army knife of school packs. I use this in college and got many compliments the first day I had it in class. Every compartment is well hidden and the zippers are tough and durable compared to the average Jansport. One of the coolest parts to this pack is the rear insulated compartment that stores my energy drinks for the study days. The reason I gave this pack 3 stars is for a simple reason. The compartment for storing pens and pencils is poorly designed. The spaces for pens and pencils is simply too short for average sized pens. I tried 5 different pens and pencils and each one butted right up against the zipper making it difficult or impossible to zip the compartment. Such a great pack, but a simple design flaw really is a big drawback for a pack designed for school.
