We sold these at my bike shop and i got a lot of customers who swore by them. They are really easy to clip into and out since they are basically run by spring. And when clipping out all u do is twist to get out. they look pretty clean too. i would first try to get them from a shop cause i do know we had older models for $50 not 89 just a heads up.

Candy SL pedals by Crank brothers, is a perfect value mountain bike pedal for the beginner and mid-level rider. These pedals are extremely easy to clip in and out of, and the price with warranty makes this a great first time clipless pedal. I did initially have some worries with durability, as the materials seem somewhat sketchy, but after numerous hours on the bikes and smacking rocks and trees the pedals have held up wonderfully with no issues.
