The modern bicycle was invented in the mid-19th century so it is safe to say that Sir Isaac Newton never owned a mountain bike. However, had he owned a GT Sanction 2.0, he surely would have discovered classic physics much sooner than being hit in the head by a piece of fruit
You see, when riding the Sanction 2.0, you will very quickly learn that when you are in motion, you will totally stay in motion. Luckily, the friendly folks at GT are familiar with this concept and have given you all the tools you need to both stay in motion, and if you so chose, mingle with outside forces.
The 6061 monocoque frame is burly enough to maintain momentum while the 6 inches of rear wheel travel will ensure there is no wasted work. The SRAM X.7 shifters will smoothly utilize some solid mechanical advantage while the Avid Juicy 5 hydraulic disc brakes will keep you well within control of both friction and outside forces. However, gravity is constant. So be prepared to encounter any equal and opposite force with the RockShox Domain front fork with 160mm of travel and the rear chock’s FOX DHX Air 4.0.

Recieved bike over night, which was nice. There are a few things to take into consideration when buying this bike. The fork doesn't have the mission control feature stated on the description, it can be ordered for $80 though. The fork spring also needs to be switched out if you are over 180lbs. That's not really a big thing as the Domain is uber easy to work on. Once these adjustments were made and all the bolts were checked for proper torque it was off on it's maiden voyage. By the way, I didn't have to adjust the front or rear derailures, they were already dialed in. I wasn't looking for a bike to replace any my other 5" travel bikes, but after riding the Sanction I have to say it's a do everything type of bike. It climbs incredibly well for it's weight and the downhill handling is superb. Major props to Giantnerd.com for the incredible value......Muchos Gracias!!

First of all, the buying experience was great. Great price, great service and super fast shipping (4 days!). Bike arrived perfect and went together flawlessly. Couldn't wait to ride and first ride was close to 15 miles. Joy to ride, smooth everything, and makes me just want to ride more. For my first serious bike, I am pleased. hi am looking for this bike but you guys dont have a small but am 5foot5, 130 pounds do you think that medium bike would be to big for me ? or do you think you would be able to have a small one ??

So sorry we do not have the 2009 Gt Sanction 2.0 in stock. At your size riding a medium frame would not be the best idea. A small will fit you best. Checkout the GT Sensor 1.0, the link is below, we have this in a small and it is an awesome bike!
