We saw on another site that some writer added the letters R, E and A between GT when describing the Marathon Sport Mountain Bike. And while that's a really cheesy description, we're inclined to agree.
This aluminum looker has all the goods to keep you riding hard across whatever landscape you choose, whether it's a hundred miles of trail or a white-knuckle downhill slope you're way underqualified to approach (we can't say the same for you when it comes to staying ON the bike). Plus, with hardcore Shimano parts attached to it, you can really tear into the terrain. So, even though we didn't come up with that clever line, this bike really is great, and great riders should probably buy it from us. Hell, our price is better anyway.

I am really disappointed with Giantnerd's customer service. I decided not to buy their assemble service as I am capable of putting the bike together. Now that one of the components presented a defect (it's the bottom bracket that came assembled from them, I did not have to assemble it) they said because I did not bought their service they cannot do anything. Prices were great but now I know why.
I do not recommend Giantnerd.

I got this bike a couple of weeks ago. I had a change to ride a couple of times on intermediate trails and I am loving it! At this price this is an unbeatable deal. The hydraulic breaks works great. The Shimano Deore drive train shifts smoothly. The only thing I am missing is lockout on the rear suspension but the Fox shock works great.
